The fitting room

Work through measurements, proportions, waistbands and movement. Find the shape that makes sense before choosing a letter size.

Build a fit brief before opening the size chart

Write down what is wrong with your current pajamas in physical terms: the hem catches underfoot, the waistband presses when seated, the shirt pulls across the back, or one half of the set fits differently. That observation gives you a more useful shopping requirement than a size letter. This hub helps turn each problem into the measurements and garment choices worth checking.

  1. Establish your reference. Start with how to measure for cotton pajamas. Keep body measurements separate from measurements taken from a garment that already fits. Check which type the seller's chart provides before comparing numbers; do not treat them as interchangeable.

  2. Locate the proportion mismatch. If several lengths are wrong together, use the petite proportion guide or tall inseam, sleeve and torso guide. If width or ease is the concern, the plus-size fit guide helps separate the places needing room.

  3. Decide whether a set still makes sense. When one size cannot accommodate both halves, read the guide to mismatched top and bottom fit. The women's and men's collections include separate bottoms as well as sets, letting you compare formats before choosing a model.

Keep adjustment and proportion separate

A drawstring question belongs in the waistband guide; shortening a leg does not answer it. Likewise, choosing from the capri collection changes intended leg coverage but does not establish a petite rise or torso. Note those requirements independently.

Buying for a child needs a different route. Use children's actual-measurement guidance and the exact garment's fit instructions, rather than carrying adult preferences for extra room into children's sleepwear.
